Jeremy Aungie, 40, of Wagner, died Friday, January 23, 2026 in Bruceton Mills, WV. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 5 at 11 a.m., at the Marty Community Center. Burial will be in Hill Church Presbyterian. Wake services will begin at 7 p.m.

Linda Marie Clemens, 71, of Wagner died Monday, January 26, 2026 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Friday, January 30, at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial was in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Roger Wayne Frankenstein, 80, formerly of Dante passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Florence, South Carolina, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Funeral services are Tuesday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial is in St.

William “Billy” LeRoy, 48, of Wagner died Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour. Funeral services were Saturday, January 31 at the gym. Following his services, Billy was cremated. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

June R. Kinder, age 82, of Willow Lake (formerly of Arlington), passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown. Private graveside in Arlington Cemetery will be held by the family at a later date.

Funeral services for Jo Ellen Wormsbecher, 87, of Avon are Wednesday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m., at the Danzig Baptist Church, rural Avon. Burial is in the Danzig Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon is in charge of arrangements.

Forrest Farley, Jr., 83, of Pickstown passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. His wish was to donate his body to science at the USD School of Medicine. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Pickstown Community Church.

Jaymie Jo Phillips, 50, of Rapid City died Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Monument Health in Rapid City. Funeral services were Saturday, January 24 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Wayne Adolph Cihak, age 85, passed away on December 23, 2025, after courageously fighting a prolonged illness. He was surrounded by the love and presence of his family in his final days. Wayne was born on August 31, 1940, in Avon to Adolph Anton Cihak and Helen Veronica (Pekas) Cihak.
