After seven years, the Lady Pirates are returning to the State Tournament. Millions of geese have been heading north. Word has been said that many goose hunters flooded the area for the birds migrating, but the long flight brought them in with just feathers and bones.
Area youth and first-time hunters will have the opportunity to complete their hunter education certification during a three-day course scheduled for March 26–28, 2026.
The course will begin Thursday, March 26, and continue Friday, March 27, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
For one Wagner native, wrestling has been far more than a sport. It has been a lifelong journey that began in childhood and helped shape the person he is today — a journey that recently led to induction into the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
