FCSLA MATCHING FUNDS BENEFIT COMMUNITY

The Tabor Pioneers 4-H Club members received a FCSLA Life Matching Funds check of $600 from Dennis L. Povondra, FCSLA National Auditor. The event was held at the Takota Park Ball Field in Tabor during the week of May 19 - 21, 2025. Girls Softball and Boys Baseball games were played during the week.

10 YEARS AGO 2015 A time capsule from 1989 was opened during the Pickstown Veteran’s Day Program. Found in the capsule was a t-shirt, a preserved photograph, an excerpt the Wagner Post, and a Centennial Celebration flyer.

VETERANS IN THE CLASSROOM

The month of November is VFW Veterans in the Classroom month. Five Post 7319 members visited the 5th grade social studies classrooms of Patrick Belling and Phillip Raysby on November 11th.

The annual VFW Post 7319 Veterans Day Banquet was held at the American Legion with a potluck supper at 7:00 p.m. on November 11, 2025.

President Jamie Soukup brought the meeting to order Wednesday, November 12th and proceeded to lead the members in saying the Rotary Grace. Rotarian Rachel Woods announced that our song for the day would be The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
