KOKES ATTENDS 2025 BOYS STATE

Matthew Kokes, the son of Jay and Lori Kokes, was the Wagner American Legion’s 2025 Boys State delegate. South Dakota Boys State was held at Northern State University in Aberdeen on June 2-6.

10 YEARS AGO 2015 New playground equipment was installed at Wagner Lake. The equipment was funded by a private local donor, whose donation was matched by a grant through the South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks. The Annual Wagner Cancer Walk was held.

35 YEARS AGO 1990 At the South Dakota State Fair this year will be Bob Hope, John Denver and Tom Jones August 28 to Labor Day Avon Little League: First round the Red Sox lost 11-5 to Scotland. Brad Chaney and Chris Cameron pitched. Brett Muller had 2 hits. The Harpoons lost 15-5.

TRONVOLD EARNS NREMT ACCREDITATION

Sirens and flashing lights have been part of Dallas Tronvold’s life for a long time, actually his whole life. So, it’s understandable that 24-year-old Dallas is following in the footsteps of his dad, Alan Tronvold, who has been an EMT for 33 years.
