GREER UNIT #11 AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY MEETING MINUTES

Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on June 19 at the Post Home with 15 members present. President Alyssa Mathis called the meeting to order. Chaplain Margie Stone read the opening prayer.

CHARLES MIX COUNTY 4-H JUNIOR LEADER SPOTLIGHT

The Charles Mix County 4-H Junior Leaders Club President for the 2025-2026 season is Emma Kreeger. Emma is the daughter of Chad and Cathy Kreeger and resides in Wagner. Emma has been a part of 4-H for nine years, joining when she was eight years old.

PLENTY OF FISH CAUGHT FOR LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AT WALLEYE TOURNAMENT

Pictured are the Wagner Knights of Columbus, Ravinia Fire Department and volunteers cleaning fish from the the annual Cabela's National Team Walleye Championship held at Prairie Dog Bay last weekend, June 19th - 21st. The fish will be used for Ravinia Fish Fry and the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry.

BUSY WEEK FOR THE WAGNER AMERICAN LEGION AND AUXILIARY

There were many guests that joined the Wagner American Legion and Wagner American Legion Auxiliary at the June supper. The first two recognized guests were Marcella Strand and Brenda Jaton. Marcella has retired from the Modern Woodmen and will no longer be the Wagner area’s representative.
Marcella Strand was honored for her service to Modern Woodmen, taking her place will be Brenda Jaton.

10 YEARS AGO 2015 Andrew Buller and April Soukup announced their engagement. Matthew Lensing and Trevor Fredrich were both awarded the Build Dakota Scholarship. Mount Marty College announced that they would be signing Drue Soukup to their 2015-16 baseball roster.
