Mahpiya Irving This week’s featured Andes Central senior is Mahpiya Irving. Mahpiya is the daughter of Darla Irving and Bear Hand Fischer Sr. Mahpiya is one of eight children and her siblings include Orin, Mia, Bear Hand Jr., Beverly, Wicahpi, Wakinyan, Zintkana.

The annual Farm, Home, Garden and Sports Show held at the Wagner Armory this past Thursday, March 27th was very successful. The 60 booths available were filled with 53 vendors coming from a variety of towns within a 75-mile radius of Wagner.

Wagner Community School class of 2024 graduate, Vincent Bechen, joined the Air Force after graduation. Bechen attended boot camp at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, graduating on October 24, 2024. Bechen’s flight of 54 individuals earned the Commanders Excellence award at graduation.

Lions Club Bingo was held Friday, March 21 at the Avon Auxiliary Gym with a great turnout! All proceeds will benefit local organizations. Thanks everyone, for attending!
