10 Years Ago – 2014 Santa made a stop in Wagner. After pictures with Santa, a free movie was shown in the Wagner Theater to a large group of parents and children. These events were sponsored by the Wagner Chamber of Commerce.

The Clarion did a story on Kenny Crouse who was then 91 and how he was believed to be the last survivor of WWII from Avon. Crouse was involved at the Battle of the Bulge.

The library also held a Scavenger Hunt with three winners.

The Andes Central Chapter of the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) participated in a National Project titled, “Share our Strength, No Kid Hungry”.
Nathan Herrold was named Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week by KSFY- TV.
The Wagner City Council met for their regular monthly meeting on December 2nd at 6 p.m. at City Hall. There was quite a list of items on the agenda, but only a couple of topics that led the council to discuss.
