National Hospital Week was celebrated May 13-17. In recognition of this week, approximately 64 Wagner Community School first graders toured the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera on May 16th.

With National Nursing Week celebrated May 6th through May 12th, it is only fitting to honor and recognize those that take care of the senior members of the community. The Lake Andes Senior Living Center has a wonderful nursing staff of eight nurses.

Wagner Community School Graduation was held Saturday, May 11th. Karstyn Lhotak gave the welcome, Shona Kocer spoke of the highlights throughout their years at WCS and Jennifer Barnett gave the address. Scholarships were presented, a slideshow was shown and flowers were handed out to loved ones
