ANDES CENTRAL KNOWLEDGE BOWL

Knowledge Bowl Team (Syrianna Never Misses a Shot/ Mahipya Irving / Anais White Eyes / Muril Tiger) placed second at the career development conference in Mitchell on March 5th - they have qualified for the NDC national convention in St. Louis, Missouri on April 18-20.

LAKE ANDES BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

This month’s Lake Andes business spotlight is North Point Recreation Area. North Point Recreation Area is run by District Supervisor, Kris Monroe. Kris has been the District Supervisor for three years.

WAGNER COMMUNITY SCHOOL SENIOR SPOTLIGHTS

One of this week’s featured WCS Senior spotlights is Monroe (James) Kessler. Monroe is the son of Regan Gregor and Wendell Flying Hawk Jr. Monroe also goes by the nicknames of Jimmy and Hamez/Yamez.

WAGNER WRESTLING WRAP UP

The Red Raider wrestlers had a great season, finishing in 5th place at the state tournament and having five out of six of their state wrestling qualifiers place in the top four individually in their respective weight classes.

2024 SCIENCE FAIR AWARDS PRESENTED

2024 Science Fair Awards were presented to: 6th Grade Awards: 1st place: Ashley Soukup “Does the type of soil affect how fast plants grow?” 2nd place: Sydney Johnson and Rowan Brandt “Does temperature affect the strength of a magnet?

AVON VETERAN OF THE MONTH - BRUCE VOIGT

Bruce Voigt is being honored as the Avon Veteran of the Month. Bruce dedicated just shy of 21 years of service to the Springfield National Guard Unit. Bruce ended his service in January of 1994 when the Springfield National Guard Unit closed. He finished his service as an E6 Staff Sergeant.
