The American Legion Auxiliary Greer Unit #11 is honoring Dennis Clemens as this month’s Veteran of the Month. Clemens is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis was drafted and started his service on July of 1967.

Team Buche Cares has made an incredible impact with efforts from GF Buche Co team members, customers, and friends. RF Buche generously matched donations up to $500 for each non-profit charity, with the total donations adding up to $75,714.18 state-wide.

10 Years Ago – 2014 Wagner Day was held at the State Legislative Session. The day was reserved for several city council and chamber members to spend the day sharing what Wagner offers. Josh and Jill Havranek announced the birth of their son, Case Isaac.

One of this week’s WCS Senior spotlight highlights Carter Cournoyer. He is the son of Antoinette Cournoyer and Joey Cournoyer Sr. During his years at WCS, Carter has been involved in the extra-curricular activities of basketball (four years) and football (one year).

State University in May of 1997. She then completed her Master’s of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Resource Development in December of 1999. Jen worked as a middle school and high school counselor at Sioux Valley Schools from 1999-2013 before moving back to Wagner.

The Legislature met for five days this week and we were able to work through a lot of bills. The Transportation Committee has passed two new license plate bills. House Bill 1119A would create a habitat conservation specialty plate and emblem.
