BON HOMME COUNTY 4-H OVERNIGHT LOCK-IN

Last Friday night, Bon Homme County 4-H members and their friends were wide awake at the second annual 4-H lock-in. The lock-in was hosted by the Bon Homme County 4-H leaders and volunteers overnight on Friday, March 20 at the county 4-H grounds.

WAGNER CITY CLEAN UP

Many volunteers came out to help with City Wide Clean Up Friday, May 5th.Seniors from Wagner High School took a break from school work to help as well and Commercial State Bank provided lunch following the clean up.Submitted photos.

FUN HAD AT LION'S CLUB FUN FEST

This year's annual Lion's Club Fun Fest was a big success as everyone came to enjoy a delicious dinner followed by fun games for all ages. The proceeds from this years Fun Fest will towards the City Park and the baseball, softball and swim teams.

ANDES CENTRAL FFA AT STATE CONVENTION

Andes Central students went to the State FFA Convention in Brookings last week. Those who attended were Cole Bergin, Abigail Svatos, Riata Bultje, Luke Dangel, Emery Bultje, and their advisor, Mr. DeNeui.

Meet your new Mayor!

Longtime local resident Tammy Thornton was elected Wagner’s mayor in April and started her duties on May 1st. Thornton will serve a two-year term and is excited for the opportunity. She has spent her whole life in the area and the community means a lot to her.
