The Bon Homme Community Choir is making final preparations for the 2026 Easter Cantata. 'Savior, Jesus Messiah' is the title for this years Easter Cantata. The choir once again is directed by Autumn Schultz the Avon High School music teacher.

10 Years Ago - 2016 Lots of winners at the Avon Ambulance High Stakes Bingo Saturday. Chris Dvorak won the jackpot of $500. After two months and 160 hours of lectures and training, the Avon Fire Department had a live burn with members from Avon and Wagner Fire Department completing the training.

If you’ve tuned into the United States Senate lately, you may have seen senators engaged in a robust debate over an important piece of legislation: the SAVE America Act. This bill is about as common sense as they come.

Our senior spotlight of the week is Hensley Erin Talsma. She was born on July 17th 2008, to Jerry and Tina Talsma. Her favorite subject in school is English, because there is so much chaos, and it makes her happy and laugh. We asked her what the most challenging task as a senior is.

Area youth and first-time hunters will have the opportunity to complete their hunter education certification during a three-day course scheduled for March 26–28, 2026. The course will begin Thursday, March 26, and continue Friday, March 27, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
