SENIOR MUSIC STUDENTS TAKE MEMORABLE TRIP TO OMAHA

Mrs. Autumn Schultz Fourteen Avon Senior Music Students recently embarked on a jam-packed two-day trip to Omaha, Nebraska, on May 14th and 15th, accompanied by music teachers Autumn Schultz and Joseph Sexe.

Avon School District Preschool Enrollment

Applications are currently being accepted for preschool enrollment at Avon School District for the 2025-2026 school year. Due to planning purposes in the upcoming year, it is essential that all applications be returned by June 1, 2025. The cost for the the program is $130 per month.

THIRD AND FOURTH GRADERS EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP

The third and fourth graders enjoyed an educational field trip to Ashfall Fossil Beds near Royal Nebraska and Pierson Wildlife Museum in Neligh, Nebraska. They learned about paleontology and got to touch volcanic ash. They were able to touch an elephants foot and reindeer hide.

BECKY HAENFLER NAMED REGION 3 TEACHER OF THE YEAR

When an school assembly was called, Avon Middle School teacher Becky Haenfler never guessed it would end with her being named Region 3 Teacher of the Year. Announced in front of students with the help of seniors and Principal Lyndsey Fathke, the surprise left her stunned.
