LEGISLATIVE NEWS FROM PIERRE

Hello District 19- As I say goodbye to the family and load up my truck to drive to Pierre for the start of the 100th Legislative Session, I want to thank the voters for entrusting me with the opportunity to serve. It’s an honor and a privilege to represent District 19 in our state’s Capitol.

CAHOY'S NAMED 2025 RETAILER OF THE YEAR

Cahoy’s General Store was named 2025 Retailer of the Year by the South Dakota Retailers Association this past December. The Cahoys were presented with their award at an award banquet held in Pierre on January 13.

Wednesday, January 8th, found the Wagner Rotary members back in their clubhouse for a regular meeting after a three-week absence due to the holidays. President Jordan Weber almost broke the handle on the Rotary bell by giving it such a hard crack!

FATHKE NAMED PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR

A well-deserved honor was recently bestowed upon Avon School District principal, Lindsey Fathke as she was named Region 3 Principal of the Year. Lindsey is in her third year as school principal for the Pirates.
