Kathleen Selma Peters, born April 17, 1954, in Delmont, joined our heavenly Father on June 26, 2026.

Kathleen was the daughter of Elmer Peters and Velda (Permann) Peters. Kathleen grew up in the Delmont Wagner area with brothers Tyrone and Stanley and sister Vicki. She graduated from Wagner High School in 1972. During her life Kathleen has lived in and added to communities in Wagner, Yankton, Dante, Belle Fourche, Whitewood, Rapid City, and Box Elder and Gillette and Moorcroft Wyoming.

During her life, Kathleen held many different jobs and wherever she was at she took full ownership and gave her all. She was known as 'Chatty Kathy' and to know her was to love her. She was blessed with four sons: Zachary, Joshua, Mark, and Christopher. Kathy loved arts, crafts, interior design, and gardening. She enjoyed creating, cooking, and baking in the kitchen but only knew how to make for an army. When called out on this she would just smile and say, 'It will freeze.'

Kathy loved connecting and catching up with old classmates and coworkers via Facebook. She was always eager to share all sorts of news, advice, silly videos, or jokes with anyone who walked through the door.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, friends, and of course, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
