Jean Archambeau, 72, of Wagner, died Friday, May 23 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus, in Rochester, MN. Burial was in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

The family of Lillian Munroe Iron Wing of Sioux Falls, announces with sadness the peaceful passing of Lillian Iron Wing on May 2, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Known for her strength, kindness and humor, Lillian will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Ernest Weddell, Jr., 71 of Marty were held Friday, May 9 at the YST South Community Gym in Wagner. Burial was in the Hill Church Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Ernest Gerald Weddell, Jr. was born to Ernest Lorenzo Weddell, Sr. and Elaine Edna Little.

Rita Mae Schuch age 90 of Tyndall, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at St. Michael’s Hospital Avera, Tyndall. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Tabor, with Rev. Darin Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Lois Marie (Johnson) Lopez was born on January 3, 1958 in Wagner, to Millicent Johnson and Calvin Blaine. She died Friday, April 25, at her home in Vermillion. Lois’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family.

Funeral services for Phillip Gerald Tjeerdsma, 91, of Springfield, were held Tuesday, April 29 at the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Springfield. Burial was in the Emmanuel Cemetery, rural Springfield, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home in Springfield was in charge of arrangements.

Jean M. Borchers, age 74 of Beaver Creek, MN died Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Society in Luverne, MN. The family will have a private burial that will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery in rural Beaver Creek, MN later.

Funeral services for Jonathon Doom will be held Wednesday, April 30, at Fountain Springs West Church, 2100 N. Plaza Dr. in Rapid City at 10 a.m.. The public is invited to Jon’s burial on Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Wagner.

Dale Loren Soulek, 59, went to his heavenly home Sunday, January 26, at Wagner Community Hospital in Wagner. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. at What the Duck in Lake Andes. Dale was born September 1, 1965, to Walter and Joyce (Hoeksema) Soulek in Wagner.

Funeral Mass for Gary Carda, 73, of Wagner was held Tuesday, April 22 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
