A graveside service for John Ray Parker, 67, of Lake Andes, with a motorcycle send off will be held Thursday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery, Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of arrangements. If anyone will need a seat please bring a chair.

Alice B. Doty, 74, of Vermillion, passed away on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. The Celebration of Alice’s life will be held Friday, September 13th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kober Funeral Home in Vermillion.

Barry Dean Kadlec, 76, of Lake Andes died Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at his home in Lake Andes. There will be no services per Barry’s request. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of arrangements. Barry Dean Kadlec was born May 1, 1948 in Geddes to Frank and Rose (Kolecka) Kadlec.

Betty Rose Lightfoot, 93, our loving family Matriarch, finished her work here on earth when the Lord called her home on June 8. She was born Betty Rose Weber, the eldest of seven children, on January 8, 1931, in Delmont. In 1950, Betty married Curtis Lightfoot.
