Diane Jean Latimer of Yankton, was born June 27, 1954 in Springfield, to parents Frank Schotanus, Jr. and Elsie (Mesman) Schotanus. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Yankton with family around her, in the early morning hours of February 11th, 2024. She was 69 years old.

Nancy Meyer, age 68, of Toronto, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 as result of a car accident. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20th at Leganger Lutheran Church in Toronto. Burial will be at the Toronto City Cemetery.

Vida Mae Roller, infant daughter of Lloyd and Tianna (Lopez) Roller died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Wake services were Saturday at the Marty Community Center. Funeral services were February 5 at the Marty Community Center in Marty.

Alize Heth-LeCounte, infant of Danica Heth and Chrishawn LeCounte, died February 5, 2024 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Private services were held with burial in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Victor Chase Thunderhorse, infant son of Nicole Cooke and Chris Thunderhorse was born and died February 9, 2024 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Private services were held with burial in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood.

Funeral Mass for Gary Beeson, 74, of Wagner was held February 16 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dante. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Dante, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Noah Grant, 62, of Wagner entered the sprit world Monday, January 29, 2024 at the Avera Prince of Peace Nursing Home hospice care unit in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Friday, February 2 at the Wagner Community Church. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty.

In loving memory of Marcella Amelia Nepodal McFarland, who peacefully entered the gates of our Lord's eternal home Sunday, February 11, 2024. Her funeral was held February 19 at Goglin Funeral Home in Tyndall. Interment was in the Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Tabor.
