Funeral services for Basil Heth, Jr., 76, of Wagner were held Friday, September 22 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery in rural Greenwood, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner were in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Thomas Beeson, 52, of Wagner were Wednesday, September 20 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dante. Thomas F. Beeson passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner, at the age of 52. He battled ALS for three years.

Leon Frederick Irvin, Jr., 46, of Wagner died unexpectedly Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Wagner Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services were Saturday, September 16 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery in Greenwood.

Ina (Schultz) Kuhlman, 95 passed away August 28, 2023 in Rapid City. Ina was born in Wagner on March 20, 1928, was raised along with her brother, Bertie Schultz, by grandparents, Charles and Leota Schultz.

Funeral services for Sharon Greger, 77, of Wagner were held Wednesday, September 13 at the YST South Gym in Wagner. Burial was at the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery in Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Josephine was born October 20, 1940 in Marty. She was the daughter of Harold and Hazel Cournoyer and was a proud member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe. She was the mother of five children, preceded in death by her son Barry Aquash and granddaughter Eva Aquash.

Robert Lee Colgan, age 76 of Springfield passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Tyndall. A memorial service was held Friday, September 8 at Goglin Funeral Home in Tyndall. Inurnment, with military honors, was in the Tyndall Cemetery.

A private burial for Bruce Eckert, 67, of Ruskin FL, formerly of Avon, will be held at the Gramkow-Vesper Lutheran Cemetery, rural Avon at a later date. Bruce Wayne Eckert was born June 15, 1956 in Tyndall, to Victor and Doris (Ehresmann) Eckert.

William Wapaha Un Waokiye “Akicita” died Friday, September 1, 2023 at the V.A. Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Wednesday, September 6 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood, with military honors.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 9 at the YST South Gym in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements. John Bernard Feather Jr. was born October 26, 1956 in Wagner to John Bernard Feather Sr. and Elizabeth Ramona Raymond who both reside in Marty.
