Dr. Theodore R. (“Ted”) Pier passed away in Minneapolis January 8th. His death resulted from a fall in his home. Ted had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease years ago, and he suffered throughout his affliction with great dignity. He was 75 years old.

Funeral services for Zona Robsahm, 93, of Sioux Falls were held Friday, February 10 at the First Presbyterian Church in Avon. Burial was in the Trinity Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Avon. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon was in charge of arrangements.

A visitation Virgil C. Jurrens will be held Saturday, February 11 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on at Midvale Community Lutheran Church, 4329 Tokay Blvd. Madison, WI. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

Emily Iyotte died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Private services are being held. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Angela Roubideaux, 28, of Sioux Falls were Tuesday, January 31, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for John Squirrel Coat, 46, of Lake Andes were held Thursday, February 2 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Glenn Charles Ahrens, 92, of Amarillo, TX died Thursday, February 2, 2023. Graveside services were Monday, February 6 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Amarillo, TX. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, TX.

Gary James Doty, age 75, of Vermillion, passed away sur-rounded by family on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Gary was born on April 3, 1947 to James and Stella (Steffen) Doty in Winner. After receiving his GED, he joined the South Dakota Army National Guard as a Combat Medic.
