There aren’t many things in the outdoors that I haven’t tried, including scuba diving, bear hunting, predator calling, antelope, trapping and so much more. As I mentioned in my column on snow-shoeing, there’re times that some strange things have happened to me.

As winter progresses, there are changes going on below the ice, forcing the fish to new locations and as this happens, their behavior changes.

What makes a good student? Ibelieveagoodstudent has many great qualities. Some of the qualities a good student would have, is turning in work on time, actively participatinginclassdiscussion, andgettinggoodgrades.

The way the weather has been for the Last few days, I’d swear that spring has as arrived, even though We have thirty-five days of the winter left. When there’s nice weather and not too much wind, I see boats stopping at Stop N. Go, Hartington Ne.

Dear Editor: Wednesday, February 22nd the Senate Transportation Committee will meet at 7:45am in room 423 at our capitol and S 701 will be heard. S 701 is a Senate Resolution in Support of Rebuilding the Wagner SD Hwy 46 with four lanes.

As a kid, I loved the snow, the winter, not so much anymore, especially this year where in N.E Nebraska we’ve had two storms that dumped at least ten inches a couple of times. I remember one bad winter where the snow was so deep, that I couldn’t walk along the creek where I was hunting deer.

Here are some of my thoughts concerning The Gregory County Pumped Storage meeting on January 25 in Burke, SD sponsored by MidAmerica Energy and Missouri River Energy Services. East and West River communities were well represented at both meetings (afternoon and evening).

Recently Senate Resolution 701 in Support of Reconstruction of Wagner 4 lanes was introduced By Senator Shawn Bordeaux. This resolution clearly states the facts and concerns of the stakeholders who utilize the current Highway 46 four lane through Wagner.
