The Sioux Falls Washington Pavilion presented the hit Broadway Musical Aladdin from November 28th through December 3rd. The Andes Central Music Boosters sponsored a trip for Andes Central middle school and high school band and chorus members to go and experience Aladdin.

The head coach for the 20232024 Andes Central wrestling team is David Kocer. Coach Kocer is assisted by Jason Knebel and the JV/Jr. High coach is Jacob Ziegler. This is Coach Kocer’s first season as the head coach for Andes Central. There are three team members this year.

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian girls basketball team’s head coach for the 2023-2024 season is Shane Niewenhuis. Shane has been coaching for 12 years. Coach Niewenhuis is assisted this year by Ben Kroese and Lisa Foley. Senior team members are Claire Johnson and Neveah Morgan.

The Andes Central/ Dakota Christian boys’ basketball 2023-2024 season will begin Saturday, December 9th at 6:30 in Platte against the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers. The AC/DC boys’ basketball team is being coached by first year coach, Gordon Hooks.

Wagner Red Raider wrestling team hosted Bon Homme/ Avon Thursday, November 30th where the Raiders fell short by a score of 20 to Bon Homme/Avon 55.

The Wagner/Bon Homme gymnastics team kicked off their 2023-2024 season with an away meet Saturday, December 2nd against Vermillion. The next meet will be Saturday, December 9th, when the team will host a home tournament in Wagner starting at 11:00 a.m.

The head coach for the 2023-2024 Wagner Red Raider wrestling team is David Kocer. Coach Kocer is assisted by Jason Knebel and the JV/Jr. High coach is Jacob Ziegler. This is Coach Kocer’s fourth season as the Red Raiders head coach.

Our first tournament action took place in Kimball for the KWLPG invitational. We competed with 12 teams and finished in 4th place. The Raiders had four in the finals and finished with one champ on the day. Gannon Knebel topped the podium for his first career first-place tournament finish.

The Wagner boys’ basketball team has their 2023-2024 season opener on Friday, December 8th away against Winner with the “C” team game starting at 4:00 p.m. This year’s team is being coached by Head Coach, Josh Davies, and assisted by Riley Kirwan.

Wagner/Bon Homme Gymnasts traveled to Vermillion Saturday, December 2nd to compete in the Winter Wonderland 10-Team tournament. Floor: Amelia Rathgeber scored a 6.50, Raelynn Kuhlman scored a 5.45, Mia Dion scored a 7.60, Addison Cuka scored a 7.25, Jasmine Gilbert scored a 6.
