RED RAIDERS TRAVEL TO VERMILLION

Wagner shot the ball well early and had a 14-10 lead after the first period. Vermillion scored 25 points in the second period and took a 35-- 24 lead into half time. Vermillion extended their lead to 52-35 after three quarters and won the game 64-42.

RED RAIDERS C TEAM WINS OVER CHAMBERLAIN

Wagner's C team improved to 6-1 on the season with a big win over Chamberlain. Wagner led 14-8 after the first period and 22-13 after the first half. Wagner held the Cubs to 8 second half points and won the game 44-21. Jesse Zephier scored 12 points to lead the team.

WAGNER JV DEFEATS CHAMBERLAIN

Wagner held the Cubs to 9 first half points and led 31-9 after the first half. Chamberlain could not cut into Wagner’s lead in the second half, the Red Raiders won the game 53-31.

WAGNER HOST MVP IN REGION SEMI FINALS

With a trip to the SoDak 16 on the line the Lady Raiders hosted the MVP Titans this past Saturday in girls basketball action. The first quarter would be like a heavy weight fight, both teams getting a feel for one another.

RAIDERS OPEN REGION 5A PLAY AT HOME

The Lady Raiders hosted the Kimball White-Lake Wildkats last Tuesday night in girls basketball action. The Lady Raiders would harass the Wildkats early and often taking a 19-0 after the first. Wagner would extend their lead to 38-9 after the second.

WAGNER PLAY IN PARSKTON TOURNAMENT

On Saturday, February 18, the Wagner 8th grade basketball team travelled to Parkston to play in the Parkston Tournament. The Raiders were matched up with Parkston for their first game. It was an exciting back-and-forth first half as both teams shot the ball well and played an up-tempo game.

WAGNER RAIDERS VS PARKSTON TROJANS

The Wagner 7/8 boys’ basketball teams travelled to Parkston on Friday, February 17, for a pair of games against the Trojans. In the 7th grade game, the Raiders were without a couple of their regular starters and it showed as they struggled offensively for most of the game.

PIRATES DOWN THE RAIDERS

The Pirates came out ready top lay and challenge Gayville/ Volin on the home court, and sent the Raiders home with the loss, defeating them 54-38. Landon Thury connected for 25 points, Trace Pelton and Jaden Stahl each chipped in 9.
