The Lady Raiders traveled to the campus of the University of Mt. Marty in Yankton to take on the Lady Cougars of Viborg-Hurley this last Saturday night in girls basketball action. This was a make-up game from the Sacred Hoops Classic that was held at Augustana University January 28th.

The Wagner 7/8 basketball teams travelled to Gregory to face the Gorillas for a pair of games on Thursday, February 2. In the 7th grade game, the Raiders got off to a slow start on offense as they faced a 2-3 zone defense for the first time this season.

The Wagner Raider 7/8 basketball teams hosted the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks for a pair of games at the Armory on Monday, January 30. In the 7th grade game, the Raiders got off to a fast start on offense and built a double-digit lead early in the game.

The Andes Central-Dakota Christian Thunder came to town last Thursday night in girls basketball action. The game would sway back and forth midway through the first quarter until the Raiders would hold a 14-10 advantage.

The Lady Raiders finally got to play in front of a home crowd. It was January 10th when they last played a game here in Wagner. It was no easy task as the Hanson Beavers came to town.

The Lady Raiders traveled to Irene to take on the Irene-Wakonda Eagles. Wagner would be the team flying high on this night. The Raiders would open the game on a 9-0 run. They would hold a 22-12 advantage after the first and then a 43-17 lead at the half.

Vault Results: Emersyn Tucker scored an 8.325, Jasmine Gilbert scored a 9.050 and placed 5th, Raelynn Kuhlman scored a 7.70, Karli Kotab scored a 7.80, Mia Dion scored an 8.0275, Amelia Rothgeber scored a 7.775, and Alexys Rueb scored a 9.20 and placed 2nd.

Bon Homme/Avon participated in a dual with Marion/ Freeman on January 26th.

Avon hosted Gregory January 26th where they suffered the tough loss 33-61. LandonThuryledthescoreboard with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals; Noah Watchorn had 5 points and 5 rebounds, and Trace Pelton added 5 points.

Jaden Stahl, son of Sandy and Sam Stahl, was recognized with his parents. Jaden is the only senior on this years boys basketball team.
