Wagner Cross Country ran at the Gregory Cross Country Invite on Tuesday, September 2nd. The wind was a major factor in a way that often times happens in South Dakota. The kids were running into the wind more than they were not. However, this did not stop them. They powered through.

Wagner Varsity and JV Both Go 2-2 at Parkston Tournament The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Parkston on Saturday, August 31st to compete.

Avon Pirates traveled to Sioux Falls Friday to face off with Sioux Falls Lutheran where they took the win 58-8. Pirates had a big 1st quarter as they started off with Lance Odens getting a safety to start off the night 2-0.

Avon Cross Country team competed at the Beresford meet Friday. Results from the meet are: Varsity (5000 m): John Fathke - 55th - 20:03.20 Jack Fathke - 65th - 21:01.03 Junior Varsity (4000 m): Zander Fathke - 13th - 15:35.17 Girls Junior High (3000 m): Mya LeBeau - 92nd - 16:33.

AC/DC Thunder earned runner-up at the Hanson Tourney defeating Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in the first round 25-19 and 25-23, and defeating Freeman Academy/ Marion 30-28 and 25-20. Their loss came at the net against a tough Hanson team 22-25 and 23-25.

It was a nice day to start the 2024 Cross Country season off. Wagner attended the Beresford Invitational on Friday, August. 30th. The Wagner kids showed up to race and they did not disappoint for Wagner.

The Wagner volleyball team hosted the Vermillion Tanagers to kick off their 2024 season. The young, competitive Red Raiders came out eager to play and picked up their first win of the season. Scores of the varsity match were 25-13, 25-17, 23-25, and 25-22.
