DANIEL STINGER

Funeral services for Daniel Stinger, 83, of Wagner were held Friday, June 13 at the Woniya Wankan Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Wagner with Rev. James Marrs, Jr. officiating. Burial was in Holy Name Episcopal Cemetery, rural Dante. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Daniel Henry Stinger from Choteau Creek passed away Saturday, June 7, at the Good Samaritan Home in Corsica. Daniel was born near Dante on January 19, 1942, to Henry and Emma Cordelia (Rouillard) Stinger.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Martha Gerken, and his brothers: Isaac, Theophilus, Joseph, James and Rueben Stinger. Daniel never married, but he is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as a fourth generation of great-greatgreat nieces and nephews.

Anyone who knew Daniel knew that he loved music. He always had his guitar near him. He thought that there was no singer as good as Johnny Cash. Daniel also liked to visit. He especially liked to visit about his toy vehicles. He loved his cars, trucks, police cars, tractors and farm equipment, but his favorite was his old cars from the 30s, 40s and 50s.
