FLOANNE HAYWARD

Floanne Hadd Hayward, a long time resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 29, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on August 2, 1929 in Lake Andes. She was preceded in death by her parents L.J. and Mary Holden Hadd of Lake Andes. She was a graduate of Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois and received a Masters Degree from the University of South Dakota. Floanne was a speech pathologist in Nebraska Public Schools before moving to Houston and continuing her career with the Houston ISD. Floanne was an active member of The Church of St John The Divine. Floanne enjoyed the opera, arts and travel.

Burial will take place at noon September 11 at Lake View Cemetery in Lake Andes. She will be laid to rest next to her parents, LJ and Mary Holden Hadd.

She is survived by many loving cousins, dear friends and church family.
