SAMUEL SUN

Funeral Mass for Samuel Sun, 30, of Wagner was held Friday, January 26 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Samuel Louis Sun was known to all by Sammy. He loved to spend his days playing basketball with everyone and spending time with his kids. He liked playing all kinds of video games with them too.

Samuel passed away peacefully in his sleep January 24, 2024. He was born to Charlene Sun and Marvin Drappeaux Jr. Sam was born at Wagner Community Hospital. He attended Pierre Learning Center and Crow Creek.

He leaves behind his mother Charlene Sun; sisters: Stephanie, Marla, and Eva; one special aunt he called mom Ella Huapapi; and his children Lae-la, Lucian, and Elijah Roan Eagle.

Preceding him in death is his dad Marvin; brothers Francis and James Denoyer; grandparents Eva and Herbert Huapapi and Marvin and Bonnie Drappeaux; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
