At the South Dakota American Legion Auxiliary’s 2026 State Convention, Past Department President (PDP) Shirley Baker was honored during this year’s banquet for her decades of service and dedication.

The 2026 South Dakota State Conventions for the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary were held June 19–21 in Aberdeen, where both the Wagner American Legion Greer Post #11 and the Wagner American Legion Auxiliary Greer Unit #11 were proudly represented.

Bon Homme County 4-H horse members will be participating in the 2026 Bon Homme & Charles Mix County Horse Show at the Springfield 7-N Arena, located at 31164 Equal Rights Road, Springfield. This is a combined county show. Registration will start at 9 a.m. with the show to start at 9:30 a.m.
