Funeral services for Stanley “Boy” Fobb, 61 were held Saturday, November 22 at the Greenwood Community Center. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Gladys T. (Holec) Metteer passed away peacefully on November 9, at Providence Villa in Sebeka, Minnesota. She was 97 years old. Gladys was born to Vaclav and Mary (Ober) Holec on September 28, 1928, near Dante. She married Harold Metteer on October 9, 1947, in Luverne, MN.

Jan A. Johnson, 76, Brandon, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 13 at Bethany Meadows in Brandon, after an 11-year battle with Alzheimer’s. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held at 12:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Bonita Keeble-Hare, 43, were held Monday, November 10 at the Marty Community Center. Burial was in St Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Rickey Ray Hurd, 70, of rural Wagner, passed away on October 8th, 2025, from complications of sepsis at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska,surroundedby loving family. Rick was born on February 25th, 1955, in Cherokee, IA, to William G. and Marilyn Jacquitti (Anderson) Hurd.

Nyla Zastrow, age 85, passed away on October 27th, 2025 surrounded by her family, at her home in Columbia. Funeral Services were held Monday, November 3 at Columbia UCC with pastors Jon Damaska and Eldon Reich officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Cemetery, Columbia.

Glenn W. Carlson, 78, of Lake Andes, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully after valiantly fighting battles with cancer on Friday, October 10, surrounded by his family. He was born in Chicago to the late Ruth (Nee Hellgren) and John W. Carlson.

Funeral Mass for Nerissa Zephier, 58, of Wagner was held Friday, October 24 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marty followed by a celebration of life.

Mary Monica Smith was 99 and entered eternal rest in October 20, 2025 from her residence in Pfarr, TX. Mary was born August 8, 1926 to Margaret and W. Lloyd Gilreath in Sioux City, Iowa. Mary graduated from Ravina High School and became a school teacher. She married Thomas L.

Logan Pierce Roller, infant son of Lloyd and Tianna (Lopez) Roller was born silent into this world on Friday, October 10 at the Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK. Services were held at the Marty Community Center on Friday, October 17. Burial was in the Native American Church.
