Wagner, S.D. - Ellen Holzbauer, 100 Funeral Mass will be 1:30 PM, Monday, December 10, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial is in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be the hour prior to services at the church.

FREEMAN, S.D. - Thelma Zachariasen, 89, Freeman, formerly of Lake Andes, SD, died Saturday, December 1. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 7, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Freeman. Arrangements by Walter Funeral Home of Freeman.

Funeral services for Lorraine Matuska, 89, of Delmont were held Wednesday, November, 28 at the First Lutheran Church in Lake Andes. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, Tabor. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Larry Allan Weddell, Sr., 69, of Wagner died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Doughtery Hospice House in Sioux Falls. A Celebration of His Life was Saturday, November 17 at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner. Inurnment was at the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood.

Judge Paul James Kern, 82, of Lake Andes, was born June 9, 1936 in Platte and passed to his eternal home surrounded by his loving family on November 16, 2018. He joined his sister Mary Ann, who was born two years earlier, in 1934.

Jeraldine Ardyth Nielson, 86, of Brookings, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 10 at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings. Burial immediately followed the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Brookings.

A celebration of Josephine Rachel Van Duysen, 4, of Wagner and Michael J. Van Duysen III, 2, of Wagner, lives will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 10 at the National Guard Armory in Wagner. Burial is in the Friedensburg Cemetery, rural Avon. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m.

Henry J. Felicia, 83, of Wagner, died Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home in Wagner. Funeral services were Friday, November 2 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood.

Pearl Reisch passed away October 28th, 2018. A memorial service is planned for next spring in Rapid City. Pearl L. Reisch, born Pearl L. Holec, on May 14, 1948 in Wagner, grew up on a farm south of Dante and moved to Rapid City to attend business school and enter the workforce.

Dean Raymond Zephier, 56, of Lake Andes, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services were Thursday, November 1 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty.
