Margo Hernandez, 71, of Wagner passed away peacefully Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Margo’s Life will be Friday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Wagner.

Funeral services for Donald Nelson will be at 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Lake Andes Friday, April 26, with a visitation one hour before the service. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Lake Andes.

Wake services for Herbert Hare, Jr. began Wednesday at the YST Community Center in Marty. Funeral services were held Friday, April 19 at the Community Center. Burial was in St Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Jackie Burke passed away at the age of 57 on April 14, 2024 at Highmore Health in Highmore. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all. Jackie was born June 1, 1966 in Wagner. She spent her formative years in Armour.

Evelyn Cimpl age 97, of Yankton, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at the Avera Sister James Care Center in Yankton. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Yankton with Fr. Thi Pham officiating.

Visitation for Gregory Whiteley, of Avon, will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2 to 3:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall in Avon. Burial is in the Tyndall Cemetery. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon is in charge of arrangements.

Glen Jerke, age 90 of rural Dante, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. His funeral was held Monday, April 15 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Tyndall. Interment was at the ZCBJ Cemetery, Wagner.
