A private family service for Douglas Matuska, 74, of Lake Andes was held at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, rural Armour. Douglas Lee Matuska, age 74, of Lake Andes died April 10, 2024 of a stroke at Avera Mckennan Hospital.

Shirley Ann (Lassen) Setterholm, age 89, of Chester, passed away April 3, 2024, at the Madison Hospital from a stroke. Funeral services were held April 8 at the Trent Baptist Church in Trent. Burial will be at a later date at the ZCBJ Cemetery in Wagner.

Funeral services for Merwyn will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 11, at the YST South Gym in Wagner. Burial will be in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Marcella E. Ludens, 100, of Springfield died Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27 at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Reformed in Springfield. Burial is in the Emanuel Reformed Cemetery, rural Springfield.

Elaine Martha Wood, 87, formerly of Lake Andes, passed away peacefully at her home in Springtown, Texas December 14, 2023. Elaine was born December 20, 1935 in Lake Andes to Charles Stedronsky Jr. and Josephine (Dolejsi) Stedronsky.

Norma Jean Horner, 85, of Wagner died Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, March 4 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner.
