Wake services for Kimberly Hare, 49, of Phoenix AZ, formerly of Wagner were held Friday at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. She was cremated following her services. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Memorial Mass for Evelyn Patocka will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Lake Andes. Evelyn passed away April 13 at the Lake Andes Health Care Center.

Memorial service for James Richard Anderson, 75, Rapid City was held Tuesday, June 20 at Kirk Funeral Home. Inurnment was at Black Hills National Cemetery. James passed away May 29, 2023. Jim was born to Carl R. and Ellen (Sahl) Anderson January 3, 1948 in Wagner.

Joyce (Talsma) Lukkes, 90, of Springfield died Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the Alpine Village in Verdigre, NE. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, June 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Friedensberg Bible Church in rural Avon. Burial is in the Pioneer Cemetery in rural Avon.

Shirley Baumgartner, 96, of Rapid City, passed away on June 6, 2023. Services are pending with Kirk Funeral Home.

Peggy, 68, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at the ZCBJ Cemetery in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of the arrangements.

Services for Minerva Ann Jandreau were held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Wake services began June 7th at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of the arrangements.

Richard Arnold Carda, age 92, of Janesville died on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Born on April 24, 1931, in Geddes, he was the only child born to Stephen and Irene (Rokusek) Carda.

Sophia Winckler, age 97 of Tyndall, died Sunday, May 21, 2023 at St. Michael's Hospital, Tyndall. Her funeral was held May 25 at United Methodist Church in Tyndall, with Pastor Bill Van Gerpen officiating. Burial was in the Tyndall Cemetery.

Kenneth Francis Johnson passed away on May 25, 2023 surrounded by his family at the Dougherty Hospice House after a brief illness and broken heart. Kenneth's funeral will be Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel (7400 S. Minnesota Ave. Sioux Falls).
