Funeral Mass for Dennis Hoilien, 70, of Pickstown will be held at Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. The service will be live streamed at stpaulstmark.com. Rosary/ Wake services will be Tuesday, May 30 at 7 p.m. at the St. Mark’s.

Gloria Jean (Bearsheart) Reiter was born on September 3, 1949, in Mobridge to Lawrence and Ella Bearsheart. Gloria passed away suddenly Thursday, May 18, 2023, in her home. Services will be on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m.

Betty Hrdlicka, 75, of Tripp, died Thursday February 2, 2023, at her home in Tripp. A Celebration of Betty’s Life Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 28 at 11 a.m. at Wagner Lake in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements. Betty was born on March 5, 1947, to Walter Sr.

Elianna Powers, 14 months, was born in Sioux Falls, she was five months premature. She spent the first four months of her life in the hospital. She was a happy baby despite the complications she endured. She brought day and light into our lives for 14 months.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 31 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. Internment for Amy will be in St. Mark’s Catholic Cemetery, Lake Andes. Internment for Dennis will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Ipswich. Wake services will be 7 p.m.

Vernon J. Sip, 89, passed away Wednesday morning, May 10, 2023 at his home at Angelhaus in Yankton. Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Wagner on May 15th. Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery with military honors.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Charles Bridge just shy of his 94th birthday. Ray had a bigger than life personality grounded by his strength, leadership, and never-ending loyalty to his country, his wife, and his family.

Jenna Lucyann Mattis, 26, of Wagner passed away May 6, 2023. Funeral services were held May 12 at the YST South Housing Gym in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Jenna Lucyann Mattis was born June 1, 1997 to Todd and Angela (Goulette) Mattis.

Nancy Joan Johnson died Tuesday, April 25th after battling an extended illness at home under hospice care lovingly surrounded by her family. She was 65. Her Funeral was Saturday, April 29 at Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls.
