Gary D. Gibson of Tyndall, passed away April 18, 2023 in the Good Samaritan Center, at the age of 81 years. Funeral services were held April 24 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Tyndall. Burial was in the Tyndall City Cemetery.

Keith Francis Rothschadl, 64, of Tyndall, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 21, 2023, doing what he loved on the farm. A Funeral Mass was held March 25 at St. Leo Catholic Church in Tyndall. Interment was in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery.

Ellen Pudwill, 84, formerly of Tea, most recently of Mitchell and Springfield, died Monday, April 17, 2023 at Avera St Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen. Funeral services were Thursday, April 20 at the Friedensburg Bible Church, rural Avon. Burial was in Friedensburg Cemetery.

Funeral mass for Keith Schroeder, 95, of Wagner, was held at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Wagner, Monday April 24. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Keith James “Sparky” Schroeder, 95, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the Wagner Community Hospital.

Funeral services for Irene Eben, 100, of Avon will be Wednesday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Avon. Visitation with the family present was Tuesday, April 18 from 5 to 7 p.m., also at the church. The service will be livestreamed on the Avon First Baptist Church YouTube site.

Evelyn E. Patocka was born November 4, 1922 to John and Agnes (Blaha) Pesicka. She passed away April 13, 2023 after a life well lived. Evelyn attained the age of 100 years, 4 months and 13 days.

Wake services for Douglas Kent Thin Elk were held Wednesday, April 12 at the White Swam Community Center. Funeral service were held at the White Swan Community Center Friday, April 14. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Lynn Garvey, a beloved biker, father, husband and friend. First ride July 17th 1960 – Last ride April 1st 2023 Terry left this world on April 1st 2023, in the place that he called 'home'.

Francis died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his daughter’s home wind in his hair and the freedom of the ride. He was always ready for the next adventure, whether it was a long cross-country trip or a quick ride to his favorite local hangout.

Aziah Kezena, 16, of Wagner died Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services were Monday, April 17 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
