Funeral services for John Greger, 75, of Wagner, were Friday, June 24, at St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Memorials will be directed to the Wagner Cancer Group and the Pink Ladies.

A memorial service and celebration of life for Michael Johnson will be held Saturday, June 25 at 2 p.m. at the Furness Funeral Home Chapel, 402 N Commercial Street in Clark. Lunch will be served after the service as we all tell stories and remember the good times we’ve shared with Mike.

Services for Samantha Jo Herrboldt were held June 11 at Scotland Community Church. Interment followed at the Menno Cemetery. Samantha Jo Herrboldt was born Sunday, November 2nd, 1986 in Freeman to Terry Herrboldt and Sara Dangel Herrboldt.

Funeral services for Harris Haar, 87, of Wagner were held Saturday, June 11 at St. John Lutheran Church in Wagner. Burial was in the Riverview Cemetery in Pickstown, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Jesus Christ had Kalma Marie (Wittmeier) Koenig’s mansion ready the evening of June 2, when she fell asleep at age 96 at Laurenwood Nursing Home, Duncanville, TX. Kally was born when Calvin Coolidge was President of the United States on March 23, 1926, on a farm just west of Avon.

John Bruguier, 60, of Marty, died Friday, May 27, 2022 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. Funeral services were Wednesday, June 1 at the Ihanktonwan Community Center in Marty. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Oscar Bernie, 24, of Springfield, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center in Sioux City, IA, the result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services were Friday, June 3 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Marty.

Vert Virgil Voigt, son of E.O.F. and Katie (TerVeer) Voigt, was born September 12, 1928 on a farm near Avon. He passed away peacefully on May 25 at the age of 93 at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall. Vert attended Mawhinney Country School where he completed the eighth grade.
