Norma Colby, 95, of Grand Island, formerly of Aurora passed away March 2, 2021 at Tiffany Square Care Center with her family by her side. The family will hold a private memorial service at the Omaha National Cemetery.

Roland L. Jespersen of Lake Andes, after a long illness passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in his home. He was 85 years old. Born in Wagner, Roland resided on a farm four miles north of Wagner before moving to Lake Andes.

Patricia Ann Dillon, 77, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021. She was born July 1, 1943 to Robert Franklin Holcomb and Harriet Virginia (Nelson) in Brookings.

A funeral service for Richard Honomichl, age 80 formerly of Pleasantville, was held Tuesday, April 13 at the Mason Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pleasantville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Pleasantville Church of Christ or to the Blakesburg United Methodist Church.

James Richard Whitaker was born on May 10, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska to Richard and Peggy Whitaker. He grew up in Omaha where he attended Cather Elementary School, Millard North Junior High School and graduated from Creighton Prep High School in 1985. Jim received an Associate Degree from Metro Tech.

Brenda Marie (Hines) Tjeerdsma, age 63, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at her home in Avon. Brenda was born on April 23, 1957 in Miller, to C. Elaine and LaVerne Hines, the fifth of eight children.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 30, at the Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Walter was born September 10th, 1930 in Avon, to William and Louisa (Rueb) Kreeger.

Private funeral services were Monday, March 22 at the First Presbyterian Church in Avon. Burial was in the Trinity Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Avon, with military honors.Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon was in charge of arrangements.
