Everette died Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home in Wagner. Funeral services were Friday, March 19, at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in St. Phillip’s Episcopal Cemetery in Lake Andes, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were held March 22 at The Lighthouse in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation was Sunday at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner. Randal Joe “Rico” Meiers, Sr. was born in Tyndall on October 30, 1963, the son of Junior and Dona (Weisz) Meiers.

Art Boyle, 94, of Pierre died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Services were held Friday, March 12th at Fort Pierre Congregational Church. Burial followed the services at Scotty Philip Cemetery in Fort Pierre.

Wilma Jean (Johnson) Schnabel passed away at the Avera Gregory Hospital Friday, February 5, 2021. Wilma Jean Johnson was born October 8, 1936, in rural Avon, to Edward and Elsie (Pudwill) Johnson.

Funeral services were held March 8, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements. As a child in the 30s, Paul Wiechmann learned how to work.

Lewis B. Dillon, 82, of Wichita Kansas, died Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at Medicalodge Goddard Kansas. Graveside services in Brookings are pending. Lewis was born January 29, 1939 to Christine Bechtold and Patrick Harvey Dillon in HallsvilleTX.

Michaela made her journey to the Spirit World on February 16, 2021. Funeral services are 10 AM, Friday, February 19 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial is in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Lake Andes. Wake services began Tuesday at the Community Center.

Public visitation will be Saturday, February 27, from 2 to 4 PM at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Following his visitation he will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
