Originally, the Region 3A Cross Country Meet was scheduled for Thursday, October 12th. But, with the pending bad weather prediction, the region made a smart choice and moved the race up a day to to Wednesday October 11. It was a beautiful day to race, despite the mild wind.

Red Raiders finish their away schedule undefeated on the season going 4-0 on their away games. Improving their record to 6-1 on the season after a 40-18 win over Mobridge Pollock on Saturday, October 7.

The Red Raiders suffered their second loss on the season pushing their overall record to 6-2. By a score of 38-6 verses Tri-Valley. Some costly mistakes by the Raiders took some points off the board for ourselves and lack of execution gave Tri-Valley good starting field position far too often.

On Thursday, October 12th the Red Raider volleyball team took on the AC/DC Thunder and came away with the win with scores of 25-20, 25-9, and 25-18. Outside hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Kya Kjeldgaard led the attack throwing down 10 and 9 kills respectively.

The Lady Red Raiders traveled to Parkston to take on the Parkston Trojans in their annual Dig Pink match on October 10th. Wagner lost with scores of 14-25, 18-25, and 17-25. Ashlyn Koupal led the attack putting down 9 kills and Kya Kjeldgaard added 8. Macy Koupal earned 19 assists.

The Wagner Volleyball team played Canton on Saturday, October 7th. The Lady Raiders lost in 3 sets with scores of 16-25, 12-25, and 18-25. OutsidehittersAubreyMedrcky and Ashlyn Koupal each had 5 kills in the match. Macy Koupal earned 12 assists.

The East River Smoke Men’s FastPitch Team won the 2023 Rosebud Fair & Wacipi Tournament. The tournament was held in Rosebud during the weekend of August 24-27. The tournament was comprised of 16 teams.
