On Thursday, October 5, the Thunder ran in the Ethan/ Parkston Invite. Despite the cool, windy weather and tough course, the runners did well. In the varsity races, Eilie DeHaan finished 20th with a time of 23:05.56 and Luke Dangel finished with a time of 21:08.13.

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Armour on Monday, October 2nd to take on the TDA Nighthawks. The Lady Raiders came out and took care of business downing their opponent 25-19, 2512, and 25-20.
The Wagner volleyball team hosted Scotland on Tuesday, October 3 and swept the Highlanders in three straight sets with scores of 25-13, 25-8, and 25-14.
Outside hitters Aubrey Medricky and Ashlyn Koupal led the attack with 9 and 8 kills.
The Boys & Girls Club football program wrapped up their 23rd season with a Saturday night Super Bowl under the lights. The Casey's General Store Broncos came out victorious in a hard fought, overtime game with the Pioneer Packers.
It was a very, very windy day on October 2, and not ideal for a cross country meet. However, rain or shine, wind or calm; these runners must endure. All of the runners felt the pressure of this wind, but it did not stop them from running the race.
The WCS volleyball team has 28 players on their team this 2023 season. The teams are coached by long-time WCS volleyball coach Tana Langdeaux, who has coached volleyball for over thirty years at WCS and first-year coach, Lauren Bastemeyer.
