It was a windy day on Tuesday, September 5th as Wagner stepped off the bus to take on their hirs meet in Canton, SD. Not only was it windy, it was a very hilly course. With odds stacked against The Raiders, it was time to take a deep breath and come to this race with an opened mind and willing legs.

TheAvonPiratestraveledto Freeman Friday night to take on Freeman/Freeman Academy/ Marion Phoenix where they took the loss 18-52. In the first quarter, Aziah Meyer scored a 76 yard kickoff return for 6 and added a 36 yard run for a touchdown for another 6 points.

The AC/DC Thunder ran their first Cross Country meet of the season, Tuesday, August 29th, in Gregory. Eilie DeHaan medaled, taking 6th place in the girls’ varsity race with a time of 24:58. In the boys’ varsity race, Luke Dangel ran a time of 20.46.

WAGNER LADY RAIDERS CRUSH THE CUBS The Wagner volleyball team traveled to Chamberlain on Thursday, August 31st. The varsity came out ready to play winning with scores of 25-11, 25-7 and 25-20.
