The Red Raiders played their final regular season game Monday night against the Watch Dogs from Beresford. Wagner led 13-9 after the first period and 24-22 at the half.

The Red Raiders played their final game of the season Monday against Beresford. Wagner started off strong and led 8-4 after the first quarter and 18-9 at half time. Beresford’s pressure defense would prove to be too much for Wagner to handle in the second half and the Red Raiders fell 41-33.

RAIDERS CLASH WITH TITAN’S IN THE SODAK 16 The Lady Raiders traveled to the Corn Palace last Thursday night to clash with the Tea Titan’s. It wasn’t your usual #2 vs #15 match-up.

The Wagner 7th/8th basketball teams concluded their seasons with a pair of games against the Winner Warriors at the Armory in Wagner on Monday, February 27. In the 7th grade game, the Warriors jumped out to an early 8-4 lead after the first quarter.

The Raiders finished their season in Rapid City at the South Dakota Class B state wrestling tournament on Friday February 24. We brought four guys to the state tournament and brought home ninth place as a team.

The Avon Lady Pirates traveled to Corsica Tuesday, February 21st for Region play against Corsica/Stickney. The girls played a great game but suffered the tough loss 30-42 to end their season.

SDHSAA held State Wrestling last week in Rapid City. Bon Homme/Avon Wrestling team brought home 2nd place title in the 2023 State Team Duals. Avon wrestler results for the individual tournament are: B-138:TylerTjeerdsma(30-17)placed 8th and scored 4.0 team points. Champ.
