AVON VETERAN OF THE MONTH - WALLY VOIGT

Wally Voigt is being honored as this month’s Avon Veteran of the Month. Voigt is a Veteran of the Vietnam War and was drafted into the Army at the age of 19. At the time of his draft, he was working.

TALSMA STARTS RODEO SEASON WITH ALL AROUND COWBOY TITLE

For Terran Talsma, summer means rodeo season and rodeo season means the thrill and challenge of competition. Talsma has a full summer of rodeoing as he competes in 4H rodeos, high school rodeos and other SDRA (South Dakota Rodeo Association).

MITCHELL TECH HONORS GRADUATES

MITCHELL, May 21, 2024—A total of 504 students were honored at Mitchell Technical College’s 56th graduation commencement ceremonies May 10 at the Corn Palace. Three ceremonies honored graduates from the entire year.

BON HOMME COUNTY HORSE SHOW JUNE 25

Bon Homme County 4-H horse members will be participating in the 2024 Bon Homme & Charles Mix County Horse Show at the 7-N Horse Arena in Springfield Tuesday, June 25th. This is a combined county show. Registration will start at 9 a.m. with the show to start at 9:30 a.m.

'OPEN CLASS SHOW' TO BE HELD AT ACHIEVEMENT DAYS

The Annual Open Class Show will be held during the Bon Homme County 4-H Achievement Days. If you enjoy making projects or have a hobby and would like to show off your work, here is your chance! You can enter a variety of items to show.
