The seventh annual SDSU Energize Conference was held in Platte May 6-7. Wagner was well-represented with seven community representatives and one guest speaker.
The May 21st Rotary Club began their meeting with Song Leader Gerrit Juffer leading the members in a rousing rendition of The Battle Hymn of the Republic in honor of the upcoming Memorial Weekend.

The annual meeting of the Pioneer Cemetery Association will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 at the Ron and Lois Hornstra farm just west of the cemetery. Anyone with any interest in the cemetery is encouraged to attend.
City Library News 5-21-25 The library will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day. Any materials loaned out will be due the 27th, or materials can be placed in the book drop at the top of the ramp on the northeast end of the library.
3rd Annual Youth Turkey Hunt last weekend. We hosted eight youth hunters again this year, and were blessed with great weather for their hunt! Six of the eight were able to tag turkeys this year! It was another fun hunt for all the kids and guides! Braxton Burns won the .
The VFW Post 7319 and Auxiliary will once again be holding their Buddy Poppy Days on Thursday, May 22. Volunteers will be asking for donations for this worthwhile cause.
Wednesday, May 14th found the Wagner Rotary members present at the club building with a few absences again. Rotarians are busy people, and this spring/summer is no exception.
Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on May 15 at the Post Home with 14 members present.
