The SoDak Stamm Chapter of the Germans from Russia Heritage Society is hosting a cemetery tour on Sunday afternoon, June 8. We will be exploring graveyards which are significant to the area and the Germans from Russia who settled north of Menno, in the early days.

This year marks the 90th annual Fish Days celebration for the Lake Andes Community. The festivities will begin on Friday, June 6th and continue through Sunday, June 8th. As with any small-town celebration, there are always two big announcements before the kickoff of the festivities.

City Library News 6-4-25 The library will be closed on Saturday, June 7th to allow our employees to participate in Fish Day activities, Monday, June 9th is the first day of summer programming at the library.
