SWATEK NAMED SOUTH DAKOTA ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR

Charles Mix Democrats Meeting & Election

Charles Mix Democrats will have elections and a meeting on May 9th at the Duck Inn Waddle Out in Lake Andes at 6:30 p.m. Representatives from South Dakota Democratic state party will be there.

65th Wedding Anniversary Open House

Willard and Darlene (Buchholz) Goehring were married March 20, 1960 at the Danzig Baptist Church, rural Avon. They have three children, Kim (Keith) Frey, Brian (Jessie) Goehring, Terry (Tracy) Goehring, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

AVON MUSIC DEPARTMENT PRESENTS... Pops Concert

Avon Music Department presented their Pops Concert on Thursday, April 24. The High School Choir and 7-12 band students performed, with Mrs. Autumn Schultz directing the choir and Mr. Joseph Sexe directing the band. Matthew Grant was the sound tech.

Dementia is a progressive condition that results in decline in cognitive function. People with dementia have increasing difficulties with short term memory, thinking, and reasoning. For family members it can be hard to watch the decline in a loved one who is struggling with dementia.

10 YEARS AGO 2015 The Big Brew was held at the Wagner Building. The Wagner American legion Greer Post #11 and Auxiliary traveled to Parker for the Department of South Dakota Spring Meeting. VFW held a pancake dinner for the public.
