10 Years Ago 2015 After 100 years of worship, the Trinity Presbyterian Church was demolished. An auction had been held with no bidders. Lauren Sees and Eryn Schryvers were named Junior High and High School students of the month.

DennisRuckerisbeinghonored as Lake Andes’ March Veteran of the Month. Not only is Rucker a Vietnam War Veteran, but he also served during Operation Desert Storm. Rucker enlisted in the Army on January 30, 1969 when he was 18 years old.

A crowd of more than 200 people were entertained by Mollie B and Squeezebox at the Wagner Armory on Monday, February 24th. The band entertained the crowd throughout the evening with great polka, waltz and country style music.

The morning of Friday, February 28th, started out like any other day for most of Wagner’s residents, but for one family, it was a day unlike any other.

The Wagner Rotary was deeply saddened by the sudden death of one of our members, Scott McAdaragh. The weekly meeting at the clubhouse was canceled so that members could attend the funeral on Wednesday, February 26th. Scott will be missed.

The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera Auxiliary held their last monthly meeting on February 26 with 11 members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and the members read the Auxiliary Prayer. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on February 20 at the Post home with 14 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Alyssa Mathis. Chaplain Margie Stone read the opening prayer.
