10 Years Ago – 2014 Jarol Martin, magician, made an appearance at the Fort Randall Casino. Derica Johnson, a FCCLA member of the Andes Central chapter helped with the Trick and Read event at the Lake Andes Carnegie Public Library.

CHURCH MEMBERS VOLUNTEER TO HARVEST

The East Lake Andes Lutheran Church finished the harvesting of their “church ground” on October 9th. This has been an annual tradition for at least the last 60 years.

DENNIS COMPLETES BASIC MILITARY TRAINING

Airman First Class Hannah Dennis completed Basic Military Training at Joint Base, San Antonio-Lackland 321st Training Squaldron/Flight 586 on September 19. Hannah has embarked on an extraordinary journey with service and dedication to her country.

Wagner Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Meeting Minutes

The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital – Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on October 23rd with 11 members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary Prayer. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

W CLUB EVENT PLANNED IN NOVEMBER

There will be a W Club event at Two Spurs on Thursday, November 19. This will serve as an informational meeting and a donation drive for the W Club. Anyone interested in learning more about the W Club is welcome to attend this event.

Rotary News

President Jordan Weber welcomed another smaller group of Rotarians to the weekly Rotary meeting on Wednesday, October 30th. There are still individuals harvesting, working with cattle, and finishing fall chores.

Yesterdays

10 Years Ago - 2014 WCS students began preparing for the upcoming Veteran’s Day program hosted annually at the school. The theme was “The Sacrifices Made for Our Freedom.' Eight Tau members of the Delta Kappa Gamma met in Pickstown.
