10 Years Ago – 2014 Lake Andes received a Wellmark Grant for $7,500. Andes Central JAG students distributed TOMS shoes to K-12 students and staff. Andes Central appreciated and recognized their food service workers.

Each year The Wagner American Legion Auxiliary presents dictionaries to the third grade classes at Wagner Community School and Marty Indian School. This year the Auxiliary presented 86 dictionaries to the students at Wagner Community School and seven to Marty Indian School.

Jason Von Eschen has been a volunteer firefighter for the Wagner Fire Department since 2010. What drew Jason to wanting to become a firefighter were the people that were on the Wagner Fire Department at the time.

One of the bigger agenda items that was discussed by the City Council at the regular monthly meeting was presented by Wagner Area Development Director, Margaret Doom.

10 Years Ago - 2014 Coach Amy Tyler celebrated her 300th career win in volleyball. The Wagner National Honor Society held its induction ceremony. Wagner Community School bus drivers were recognized during School Bus Driver Appreciation Week.
